We have been distinguishing between complete sentences and fragments this week. Students have been writing and also identifying them in context. I created a sentence sort for students to identify them in isolation. Click the picture below.

Oooooo, I like it! We talked AT LENGTH about complete thoughts and incomplete thoughts, and how if you walk up to someone and say an incomplete thought, they will think you are crazy. However..... all of this practice is not turning into complete thoughts in their writing. Ay caramba! So maybe I'll try this. Thanks!!
