Write 'n' Pass
Write 'n' Pass is a cooperative learning strategy that gets students responding and writing with partners. There are many, many ways to use Write 'n' Pass. It can be used as a quick formative assessment or as a filler for that extra five minutes of time. With this strategy 50% of your students are engaged at once and held accountable. A great alternative to raise your hand if you can..... This is one of my favorite strategies and well-known by my students!

This is such a GREAT activity idea! I'm a speech pathologist and this would be great for my students (when I return to work). I am going to pin this...LOVE! I just found you thru My Kindergarten Kids and I am following you now! :D

I love this activity! We've used it to practice writing dialogue. I give the students a list of characters, then they carry on a conversation between the characters, punctuating the dialogue correctly. I'm anxious to incorporate the ideas you posted--so much fun!
